To my new and confused readers, Life Dance is defined right here
Those of you who haven't read it yet, please do.

Hello guys!!! I've been asked by tons of people these questions:
"What do we wear on Life Dance?"
"What's the dress code?"
"What's the theme of the event?"
"Should we wear beach attire?"

So before I give out options and advises for that matter, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Life Dance crew for being so accommodating and friendly last April 28, 2012 at the Price Off Party. I've finally made my second (but I'm pretty sure this wont be the last) promotional post for the said event! Yayyy! Anyway, I was so lucky because I had the chance to chat with one of the main producers of LD, Mr. V. Garcia, and I happened to ask him what the theme of the event was and what outfits should we wear. You should all know that girls take this seriously. Haha. He then answered "There is no dress code. I want people to dress as themselves, whatever they prefer". And that's when I fell more in love with this event. This is the time to be ourselves. To be creative & fun! Don't we all just hate strict themes? Finally, an event w/o one! Hurray! (Of course, we should look presentable. Common sense, fellas) Also, I've been told that beers would cost P25.00 each starting 2pm-6pm! 3 for 100 (or 35php each) starting 6PM onward!! Isn't that cool? But, don't get all wasted yet! The Belgian brothers are performing 1am til 3am. Happy hour, indeed!

 An Author's Side Note:

Shorts. You will notice that all of the outfits posted below are paired up with shorts. I strongly advice shorts, because it's going to be hot, and you would want to dance and move a lot. A mini dress is okay, but by then you would be too conscious of what you're wearing.. If you're jumping too much and your undies might be popping out. Yes! I assure you, there will be lots of jumping.. and dancing!

Bags. I prefer sling bags. Of course I am not questioning the security of the event, but we will never know. It's always better to use small sling bag on crowded events because it's easier to bring. No bulky bags = lesser chance of getting robbed (because its all over your body, and they have zero percent access to it) and lastly, more time to dance. No more worrying on who's gonna watch over your bags when you party because it's just right there with you. :)

Flats. This is quite understandable. The show would be 15 hours? And that's non-stop. You really don't wanna punish your pretty feet by wearing pretty heels, right? There's plenty of fashionable flats around like ballet shoes, gladiators, step-in, flat boots and Toms! Keep your killer heels for clubbing or something.

Others. Tank tops does not necessarily have to be similar to what I posted. This is just to give you a picture of what to mix and match. For accessories: sunglasses, fedora hats, floppy hats, bowler hats, and scarves are good props. Aside from giving you fashionable look, hats and glasses could also protect us from the heat. If you want to add other accessories, it is completely okay. Be artistic. Just make sure you know when to tone down and when to go crazy w/ it.

Below, I have gathered inspirations & options just so you would have ideas on what to wear.  Of course, there is no dress codeThese are just my choices. I would love to share it with you guys, just to give you hints and add spice to your outfits. These are also inspired by other festival goers all around the world like Zouk Out and Coachella. I did some research and I simply added my taste. Hope you like it! :)

The most famous prints this summer is aztec and tribal prints. It's best paired with anything brown. You can go for a jumpsuit, or a tribal bralet with high waist tangerine shorts. It gives you a boho-ish look.

This is my favorite. It's very "Coachella". Haha. I would suggest a toned down colored button-ups, like white or nude, and have eye-catching prints for your shorts.

Be a head-turner with crazy colors! Color blocking never gets old.

If you're into boots and anything black, this look is perfect for you. Any black tank top will do. May it be band shirts or racer backs with icons, as long as its not too girly for the look.

Another one of my favorites. Lately, I'm crazy obsessed with neon colors. I paired it with pastel or light colored shorts to minimize the screaming color of your top. Then, go neon again for your footwear!

And yet another one of my favorites. Haha. Pick a very loose tank/sando. Make sure the armpit whole is big so that the neon undergarment will be shown. You can also use sheer top for this. The neon undergarment could be a bra, a bikini top or a bandeau. You could also use bralets and tube with bright colors.

This look is so fresh! It's very chill and colorful. I'd recommend this first, perhaps. Tie-dyed shirts can also be worn for boys (see on the right most) and pair it with gray Toms.

Fringe top is a big hit this summer. It would be perfect for the event. It's chic and artsy. Crochet tops screams 'I'm feminine but I know how to partyyyyy' kind of feeling. I don't actually know what I'm talking about haha. Although I really find it very sweet and young.

Maxi dresses. I just love wearing them!!! It feels so cool and relaxing. Here's for sexy music lover moms out there, or simply for a very feminine woman who hates wearing shorts. This is a very good alternative. We all saw what Paris Hilton wore for this year's Coachella, so why not?
